MATS University degree is valid as it has been recognised by UGC. The university is also accredited with a  B+ Grade by NAAC. It is one of the oldest private universities in Chhattisgarh. The university was established in 2006.

The Indraprastha College's highest package stood at INR 21 LPA and was offered by D. E. Shaw & Co. The average package offered during 2022 placements was INR 5.22 LPA. Finance emerged as the top domain with the highest number of job offers rolled.
