The below are the requirments for Bachelor's in medicine at University of Dundee: 

Check: how of Medicine Colleges in UK: Courses & Fees

  • 5% overall in the CBSE, ISC or leading state board XII Standard exams with 85% in three relevant subjects including Chemistry and at least one other science

  • The essential subjects are Chemistry and another science, Essential subjects - Biology, English, and Mathematics

  • A copy of passport

  • Personal Statement 

  • ELP may be waived if student has secured 70% in English Lower and Standard Element or 80% in Higher Element in Standard XII when awarded by CBSE or CISCE exam boards ONLY

  • All applicants must sit the UCA

However, International students considering Lancaster could be a little higher than compared to UK citizens. The UG programme Academic tuition fee for international students is around (INR 20.07 L - 50.63L) per annum, depending on the course. It’s (INR 20.80 L- INR 26.1 L) for PG programs.

No, the university Just doesn’t require IELTS as one of its entry requirement criteria. Students can submit any other English proficiency test other than IELTS. However, IELTS is a highly taken English Language test worldwide. Check out the below table for the required scores: 

English Language Proficiency Test 

Minimum score 

IELTS Academic 

A Standard score of 6.0 with no band below 5.5 and with a higher score of 7.0 with no band score below 7. 

TOEFL iBT

An overall standard score of 87, a Minimum of 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 17 in speaking, and 19 in writing. 


And the University also has a higher overall score of 95, with writing 24, listening 22, reading 24, and speaking 25. 

Pearson PTE Academic UKVI 

Overall score of 62, a minimum of 60 in each band. 


And the university has a higher overall score of 76 with no band score less than 76.

Below is the application process for international students of University of Dundee:

For Undergraduate courses: 

Step 1:  You can apply through the common application portal. 

Step 2: Go to the website and select the course you are interested in.

Step 3: Make sure you meet the Entry requirements (Such as Academic qualifications, English proficiency, etc.)

 Step 4: Once you decide on the course, submit documents such as Transcripts and personal statements.  

 Step 5: You can track the application's progress through the UCAS  portal.
