University of Luxembourg Eligibility

The scholarships for international students at the University of Luxembourg are quite limited, and they are awarded on the basis of merit. Below are some important scholarships for international students. 

• Guillaume dupaix international master's scholarship eligibility requirements: 
  • International applicants from both EU and non-EU countries applying for a Master's degree
  • Only available for Master's programme that runs their two-year programme in Luxembourg. Master programme that have a mandatory semester or year abroad are not eligible.
  • Excellent academic performance during undergraduate studies
  • Fulltime students
  • Non-beneficiaries of Luxembourg's State Financial Aid for Higher Education (formerly CEDIES)
• Portabella Scholarhip: 

  Portabella Scholarship at the University of Luxembourg is offered at both levels UG and PG to the students who are facing financial issues. The amount in this scholarship is not disclosed, so it varies. This scholarship can only be given to 4 students a year.

  The students can apply for the Portabella Scholarship for Engineering programs at the University of Luxembourg through the university's official website.

One can choose any bachelor's course provided by the University if you have passed Grade 12 from a recognised equaivalent board as approved by the National Ministry of Education in Luxembourg. If you are looking for courses to opt, they offer commerce related courses in their Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance. The academic eligibility to apply is secondary school Diploma recognised by the National Ministry of Education as equivalent. English proficiency of B2 level is needed. Other application requirements includes a CV, motivation letter etc. One can also apply for courses from other disciplines as eligibility is uasually secondary Diploma only. 

University of Luxembourg offers a range of courses for their international undergraduate students, where the language of instruction is English. Courses at the university are offered through their three undergraduate academic faculties, namely: Faculty of Science, Technology & Medicine, Faculty of Law, Economics & Finance, Faculty of Humanities, Education & Social Sciences. In order to pursue a bachelor's degree course, international students must fulfill the University of Luxembourg admission requirements listed below:

• Completed online application, along with Euro 50 = INR 4,550* application fee;
• Copy of the detailed transcript of secondary school leaving certificate;
• Copy of results obtained in previous semesters;
• Proof of English language; and
• Letter of motivation.
