International students looking to apply to the University of Missouri admissions are required to meet certain admission eligibility requirements in relation to high school subjects and scores.

The University of Missouri offers a variety of scholarships to their international population, for which the students are automatically considered for when they apply. However, students must submit their SAT/ACT scores while applying to MU in order to be considered eligible for scholarships at the university. The entry requirements for international students at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) are as follows:
English Language Proficiency: International students must demonstrate English language proficiency by submitting scores from one of the following tests for undergraduate students: IELTS- 5.5 (minimum 5.5 in all bands), Pearson Test of English (44), Duolingo English Test (90).
Standardized Test Scores: International students may be required to submit standardized test scores such as SAT, with minimum score of 460 or ACT, depending on the programme and the applicant's qualifications.

The requirements to join the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) are as follows:
Freshman Admission:
Complete the high school 17 core requirements.
Submit high school transcripts.
Submit ACT or SAT scores if necessary.
Automatic admission may be offered to applicants who self-report completion of the 17 core requirements, a GPA, and test scores within specific parameters.
Test-Optional Admission:
Applicants with a 2.75 or University of Missouri System (UM) core GPA may be admitted without submitting an ACT or SAT score.

The University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) does not require SAT for Indian students. UMKC is a test-optional school, and students may choose to submit their SAT scores if they wish to do so. Test scores may be used for scholarship consideration. The ACT code for UMKC is 2380. The SAT code for UMKC is 6872.
