For incoming freshmen, residing in university housing is a requirement as studies have demonstrated that students who do this tend to have a higher likelihood of staying in school and graduating within four years. Both the University of Missouri and the UNH are public universities in the United States that offer a diverse range of courses at UG, PG and doctorate levels. The tuition fee at university is course specific and may vary from course to course however the average first year tuition fee incurred by a student who is studying MIM at the Uni Missouri is INR 18 Lacs to INR 20 Lakh whereas the average first year tuition fee that an international student has to bear who is studying MIM at the UNH can be between INR 22 Lacs and INR 40 Lakh depending upon the specialisation.

Students pursuing their higher studies at the University of Missouri can enrol into part-time jobs. Students who want to engage in part-time jobs are required to meet the visa guidelines. Only international students with F-1 and J-1 statuses are allowed to work in the United States. The guidelines for applying for employment are quite stringent. If students break the rules by working illegally, they risk losing their status and the ability to continue their studies.
