Institute of Distance and Open Learning, Mumbai University offers admission based on merit in the last qualifying exam or entrance exam score. The institute shortlists candidates for all UG and PG courses except MCA and MMS, based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Besides, IDOL conducts an entrance exam for admission to MCA and MMS courses. Selected candidates need to confirm their admission by paying the course fee.

The fees for each course is different for a particular course. The fees for B.Tech at Amity University, Mumbai are different for different courses and different specializations in B.Tech. The fees for the first semester in B.Tech are around RS. 47,000. The fee for an engineering course is around INR 4.8 Lakhs. The fees for BArch is INR 5.5 LPA . The fees for BCA is INR 4.8 LPA . The fees for BBA is INR 1.6 LPA. The fees for MBA is INR 2.8 LPA- 3.2 LPA. For, further details students can visit the official website of the college and click on the admission tab. Indeed, Mumbai University offers a BTech program. More than 60 associated colleges provide four-year BE or BTech programs offered by the University of Mumbai. There are eighteen specializations available for the course. The majority of MU's BE and BTech colleges' admissions are contingent upon having a valid MHT-CET score. Nonetheless, a handful of Mumbai University-affiliated colleges also recognize a legitimate JEE Main rank.

To be eligible for the BCom Mumbai University, students must have cleared the Class 12 scores with a min. of 45% aggregate. Hence a students scoring 50% in Class 12 are eligible to apply for BCom. The BCom admissions Mumbai University are cut-off based & depends on the merit in Class 12. Over the past few years, the cut-off BCom has been over 90%. In case a student is unable to clear the cut-off decided by the university, they can check other colleges offering online BCom courses.

At Mumbai University, candidates have to meet the eligibility imp for getting admission to the BSc courses. To be eligible for BSc course at Mumbai University, a student must have cleared Class 12 with several relevant subjects.
