Yes, as per an official document released by the University of Rajasthan, students who wish to cancel or withdraw their admission are entitled to a refund of fees. The university follows the following rules of refund as prescribed by the UGC:

Point of time when notice of withdrawal of admission

Point of time when notice of withdrawal of admission is received in the HEI

15 days or more before the formally notified last date of admission

90%

Less than 15 days before the formally notified last date of admission

80%

15 days or less after formally notified last date of admission.

Candidates seeking admission to the University of Rajasthan MEd programme must first do an eligibility check. Those who fulfill the eligibility criteria must register for the PBMET exam. It is a state-level entrance test conducted by Kota University. Next, they must appear for the exam at the scheduled date.

As per the Rajasthan University's NIRF report 2023, a total of 242 students were placed during the PG two-year placement drive conducted in 2022. Moreover, the median package offered to PG-two-year students stood at INR 6.35 LPA. Earlier, in 2021, a total of 1,749 PG-two-year students were placed.

However, it is known that the university generally opens the admission portal for the MEd admission process in March. Thus, the university is expected to release the application forms in March 2025. Once the portal is open, candidates seeking admission must apply for the programme.

Yes, as per the official brochure, the University of Rajasthan does reserve seats for SC/ST candidates willing to enroll into the MEd programme. As per the university's rules of reservation, a total of 28% of seats are reserved for the SC/ST candidates. Out of this, 16% and 12% of the seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribe candidates, respectively.
