The eligibility criteria for international students are as follows:

Undergraduate Admission Requirements

  • Indian students are required to have a high school certificate or Diploma from CBSE, CISCE, Maharashtra or other boards 

  • Indian students must have an average score of 60% in four academic subjects 

  • English language requirements for students are as follows:

English Language Tests 

Minimum Undergraduate Score 

IELTS 

5.5 with no band below 5.5

TOEFL PBT

525 with a minimum of 4.5 score 

TOEFL CBT 

213 with a rating of 4.5 in the essay

TOEFL iBT

70 with a minimum of 18 in all bands 

PTE

50 with a score of 50 in all sections

CAE/CPE

162 with no skill below 154 

Postgraduate Admission Requirements

  • Students are required to have an undergraduate degree from a recognised college or university

  • Students must have an average of 60% in an undergraduate degree 

  • English language requirements for students are as follows: 

English Language Tests 

Minimum Graduate Score 

IELTS 

6.0 with no band below 5.5

TOEFL PBT

550 with a minimum of 4.5 score 

TOEFL CBT 

213 with a rating of 4.5 in the essay

TOEFL iBT

80 with a minimum of 19 in all bands 

PTE

50 with a score of 50 in all sections

CAE/CPE

169 with no skill below 162

Applicants must satisfy the minimum eligibility to receive International Student Support Scholarship 2024. Applicant must:

  • Be an international student
  • Be enrolled in on-campus, external or online mode
  • Be a commencing student
  • Receive an offer to study within one of the study periods in 2024, in an award level programme offered by the University of Southern Queensland
  • Meet the academic and English language requirements for the UniSQ award programme for which they apply
  • Not be in receipt of another UniSQ tuition fee scholarship
  • Not be a sponsored student
  • Not be studying through offshore partner
