1. The academic requirement is a B.E. or B.Tech in a related field with a minimum grade of 50%.
2. Admission will be made on the basis of the merit list of UVCE.
3. This list will be prepared on the basis of GATE and PGCET scores.

No direct admission is possible and nor any Management seats are available. Students must meet the eligibility criteria for University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering UG admissions. Going by a comparative analysis based on placements, UVCE will be better for the mechanical branch. Both the colleges are academically very good. The placements for the mechanical branch is UVCE is very good. The placement percentage is nearly 60-70%. The lowest salary offered is nearly INR 3.5LPA and the highest salary being offered is INR 39LPA. University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering is a great college. Placements: In the year 2018, about 80-90% of the students got placed from branches like CSE, ISE and ECE. About 60-70% of the students got placed from core branches like mechanical and electrical. Yes you can change your branch from ECE to CSE if you will score good CGPA (above 9) in the 1st year.

The college is nice but due to unavailability of campus, lacks enormously in other activities like organisations of seminars, conference, ted talks, robotics competition, etc. This affects our resume alot.
