Yes, you can apply for M.Sc. in biochem if you had it as a subject in B.Sc. even for a semester. Or even if not, then being a PCB student in class 12th makes you eligible to apply for it. But admission will be based on an entrance test which you must qualify in order to study the same.

Previously, it was used to be descriptive but it has changed recently to the objective exam.
Exam pattern:
100-objective questions
100-max marks
40-general cut-off (on an average)
Negative marks- Yes (but don't know exactly and please comment if you know)
Syllabus: six areas
Political theory, Political Thought
(Western and Indian), Comparative Politics and Political Analysis, Indian Constitution, Public Administration, and International Relations.
