UPESEAT

UPES re-registration means that when existing students are promoted to higher semesters, they have to re-register at the beginning of a session, and it is termed as re-registration. Re-registration to the higher semester is mandatory to become eligible to appear for the university examination for existing students. University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude TesT is managed by UPES, Dehradun. This is the university-level examination and is conducted for admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programmes in several disciplines.

The reasons for rejection of the UPESEAT application form are incorrect details, the wrong photo and signature format, etc. Candidates must fill out all details carefully in the UPES application form. To appear for the exam, candidates have to fill the application form of UPES Dehradun before the last date. The UPESEAT exam date for phase 3 in 2023 is July 2 to 3.

The application fee can be paid online only through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, and Pay U. The exam authority will not accept the UPES Dehradun application fee in any other mode. After paying the fee,  candidates need to upload the scanned images of required documents and review all the details filled in the UPESEAT registration form.

The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies will conduct the UPESEAT 2024 exam in about 76 exam centres across the country. Applicants who will appear in the exam have to fill their preferred exam city for UPESEAT 2024 at the time of filling out the application form. However, applicants have to choose the actual UPESEAT exam centre 2024 at the time of slot booking. The exam authority will conduct the UPESEAT 2024 exam at multiple exam centres in a city. Applicants must note that the UPESEAT exam centre, once selected, will not be changed in any case. So, candidates are advised to complete the slot booking for UPES 2024 carefully.

Applicants who are declared qualified will be called for UPESEAT 2024 counselling. The authority will conduct the counselling for UPESEAT 2024 rank-wise for all the candidates. At the time of appearing in the counselling process, candidates need to carry certain documents. The documents required at the time of UPESEAT counselling are provided below:

• Counseling call letter
• 10th and 12th mark sheets 
•  Character Certificate
• Transfer Certificate 
•  Migration Certificate (if applicable)
• Passport size photographs.
