No, a candidate cannot apply for more than one course at a time at UPES University. Applicants can pursue only one course at a time at UPES. UPES fills eighty percent of the seats based on the UPESEAT merit list, and the remaining twenty percent of the seats are filled based on the JEE Main result and the Board result. Further, candidates from Uttarakhand will have to show their domicile certificate to claim the seat reservation.

A credit system is applicable for the candidates to take admission through distance education mode and it describes the educationalprogrammeby allotting specific time to a particular subject. University of Petroleum and Energy Studies will commence the UPESEAT counselling in online mode. Applicants who will be declared qualified in result will be called for the UPESEAT counselling. The exam authorities will release the UPESEAT counselling schedule a few days after the declaration of result.

Candidates must note that the exam-conducting authority will not share the UPESEAT result either via post or fax. The UPESEAT 2024 result is expected to be announced tentatively in May 2024 for phase 1. The authority will declare the UPESEAT result 2024 on the official website. Candidates will be able to check the UPESEAT 2024 result through their application number and date of birth. The UPESEAT result consists of candidates' name, application number, roll number, category, subject-wise marks, rank secured, status of the qualifying exam, etc.

If there is an error in the details printed on the UPESEAT result, candidates can contact helpline services. Candidates can Email or call the helpline facilities. Candidates will be shortlisted for the further counselling process based on the UPESEAT Result. Those candidates who successfully qualify for the entrance test of the UPESEAT will be called for UPESEAT counselling. Separate counselling will be conducted by the authorities for different courses.
