You should take History, Geography, Economic, Civics, mean you should take B.A. or B.Com in graduation so that you can easily prepare for UPSC exam and score well.

No After completing your graduation degree you can appear for UPSC exam directly no other exam you have to appear before UPSC exam ya you may appear for mock test for UPSC exam.

Hi Anukriti,
These are two different courses. UPSC is a different set of ball game altogether. It requires utter patience and hardwork to clear UPSC exam. Becoming a RJ is not an easy job. You must have some basic qualities within you like the ability to talk on multiple topics simultaneously, talk with sense of humor, talk sensibly etc. But above all you must have a passion for radio jockeying.

You should try to do Bachelor in Arts which is more helpful in UPSC and any other government exam because in B.A. you are studying History, Geography so it is beneficial.

Absolutely, yes. You should do BE because you can start preparing for UPSC while studying for BE. Also, studying BE will help you upgrade your thinking and aptitude level.

You should do a B.Sc/ BA course in your graduation, if you are very certain that you are willing to go in civil services. Please don't go for a medical degree.

Go to COEP, if you want to appear for competitive exam. There is no club in VJTI. The atmosphere is better in COEP.
