The Bright Minds Fellowships are Utrecht University scholarships designed to recruit and retain bright individuals from a range of backgrounds. Utrecht University alumni and the Utrecht University Fund make the fellowships possible.
The fellowships promote and support global excellence and diversity among students. They are offered to students who have applied to Utrecht University for a Master's Programme.
Students who have demonstrated outstanding devotion and academic success are recognised and supported via the fellowships. According to one testimony, the fellowship enabled them to make the most of their master's program.

The NL Scholarship is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences. Only non-EU/EEA students are eligible for this scholarship. Under this scholarship, for international students, the awarded scholarship amounts are EUR 5,000 (INR 4,47,540), EUR 10,000 (INR 8,95,080) and EUR 15,000 (INR 13,42,620).

International students can apply to Utrecht University online using Studielink portal for any program. Once the application form is submitted, international students are required to pay an application fee, of EUR 100. The application fee is non-refundable. Without the application fee the application will not be considered for evaluation.

Utrecht University is one of the most prestigious universities in the Netherland and Europe. The university has produced 12 Nobel laureates. It is one of the universities that do not officially publish data on the acceptance rate. However, as per EduRank, Utrecht University acceptance rate is 14%. With such a low acceptance rate, the university is very selective in admissions and it is very hard to get into the university. Also, the data on the acceptance rate is taken from an unofficial source, so, it is subject to vary.
