This varies depending on the scholarship the student is applying for. As the Utrecht Excellence Scholarships require to be on  top 10% of your graduating class. These programs aim to include everyone, making sure money doesn’t stop talented students from coming to Utrecht. However, entitlement grants further contribute to the university's goals and ensure that economic barriers should not hinder students from experiencing the academic excellence Utrecht University has to offer. However, the requirements and the cut-off for the scholarships vary depending on the Level of study and the scholarship applied by the students.
