No institute can guarantee you placements. It's just purely based on how you utilize your abilities and skills at the right time. I would suggest you to contact the training and placement department personally for accurate numbers.
Salary is a function of various factors - i.e. (i) the institute where you have completed your B.Tech + M.Tech. e.g. a graduate from a top institute will command a higher salary. (ii) Your work experience - organization and type of work profile (iii) city - a metropolitan city will have higher salaries as compared to smaller cities and towns. (iv) Your current organization - i.e. where you will be joining - an MNC usually has higher salaries as compared to other organizations. (v) Your work profile i.e. Manager/ AVP, etc. Thus one cannot allocate a figure.
We would suggest you to design a proper resume of your qualifications and experience. Maybe you can take help of professional resume writers. well, with a restriction of Dehradun, there is only one good college I can suggest that is UPES College of Legal Studies.
They have diverse range of courses like
BCOM LLB (Hons) with Specialzation in Tax Laws, BBA LLB (Hons) with Specialzation in Corporate Laws/International Trade & Investment/ Banking, Finance & Insurance
BALLB (Hons) with Specialzation in Criminal law/labour law/energy laws
You being a PCM student can take the advantage of coveted courses like BTECH LLB with Specialzation in Intellectual property /cyber law.
In Dehradun there's no other law school this good, offering this many diverse range of courses which have much scope of growth. With the rise of importance of environmental laws and intellectual property policy these are sought after courses. UPES also organises moot court competitions in which all good laws schools in india take part. Research paper presentation & seminars etc are also conducted. all these are benchmarks on which a good laws school is measured.
Normally I would advise a Top 5 NLS but only in case of Dehradun it is UPES. All the best!
