The selection of candidates for admission to the MBA programme at VGSoM (IIT Kharagpur) is a two-step procedure. Applicants, who are shortlisted based on the eligibility criteria are called for an online Personal Interview (PI). Final admission to the MBA programme is then offered on the basis of a cumulative score of the application rating (AR), performance score in CAT 2024, and the candidate's performance in the online PI process. Vinod Gupta School of Management (VGSoM) is an integral part of IIT Kharagpur and offers MBA courses and other management courses. IIT Kharagpur has its own world, which provides a fast-paced environment, world-class courses and strict student management. The NIRF ranking of VGSOM was 12th in 2022. So VGSOM is the best for pursuing MBA programmes.

You should have obtained a minimum sectional percentile of 80 in every one of the three sections of CAT- Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC). You should have secured a minimum overall percentile of 90 in CAT. General- 94.6, OBC- 90, SC- 82, ST- 74

To get admitted into any IIMss or any Top MBA colleges in India, the minimum CAT 2022 cutoff is expected to be 90 percentile. Those who secured the 99+ percentile can apply to top Iims like IIM Bangalore, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Lucknow, IIM Calcutta, and IIM Kozhikode. Hope it helps.

Yes, The basic eligibility criteria for PGDM is a graduation degree. If you are a BBA, then you can apply for MBA/PGDM. Many students have confusion in their minds on the PGDM course and the comparison with MBA.
