I also did MBA. Therefore I will share placements details with you at LPU as I did MBA at LPU instead of VGSOM IIT Kharagpur.
LPU is best known for providing better placements with your desired companies and higher packages.
The astonishing companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Samsung, HDFC bank, Colgate, and many more visit every year for on-campus drives and hire many students.
Surprisingly, 610 students were hired by Cognizant Technology Solutions in a single day i.e., Highest in North India till date. Being an LPU final year student, I noticed that LPU think it is not about calling companies; it is about preparing students and making sure that they get selected as they put so much effort into their students placements.
For that purpose only, they provide Professional enhancement program classes in which the students are prepared to crack the placement processes. The university puts its best efforts into the grooming of the students to get good placements;
If you are a deserving student than more than 150+ companies visits to recruit MBA, it is up to the student to crack the drive and secure higher packages.
The average Package is in the range of 5 LPA and 8 LPA with the highest package offered was approx 21LPA.+
The best thing I like about LPU about placement is, they provide placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. Being alumni of LPU, I can share the details of placements at LPU only.
If I talk about the rankings of the Lovely Professional University Zee News Survey rated us as 11th Best in India in Placements. Top companies visited for placements: Volkswagon, Voltas, Anglo-Eastern Ship Mgt., Asahi India, Rockman (Hero group), Dharam Consulting, Samundra, Indo-MIM, Sandhar Technologies, JK Lakshmi Cement, Maruti, Lava, XL Dynamics, Asahi India, Cleanmax Solar, Elgi Equipments, etc. The highest packages availed by the students are Rs 7.9 LPA for ME from Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India and Rs 7.5 LPA for ME from Wilmar International. LPU has set a record for the highest placements in India. Moreover, a student Builds UV Light Sanitiser Racket That Kills Coronavirus On Common Surfaces.
