The objective of the B.Tech (EEE) program is to train and develop skilled engineers in the power engineering domain comprising of generation, transmission and distribution of electrical energy, to serve as electronics engineers in the design and development of circuits for different types of electronics systems, to design and develop special purpose integrated circuits, to develop software solutions for Electrical / Electronics engineering applications. The scope of employment of Electrical and Electronics Engineering program includes the following domains.

It depends upon your interest whether you choose computer science engineering or aeronautical engineering.
Vellore Institute of Technology and Manipal Institute of Technology both of them are the best private engineering colleges of India.
According to me, computer science engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology is much better than aeronautical engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology because of the following reasons
1. Fee structure of Vellore Institute of Technology is about 7.8 Lakh and fee structure of Manipal Institute of Technology and aeronautical engineering is about 12.8 Lakh .
2. Faculty of Vellore Institute of Technology is much better than Faculty of Manipal Institute of Technology.
3. Facilities provided to the students of computer science engineering in Vellore Institute of Technology is much better than facilities provided to the aeronautical engineering students of Manipal Institute of Technology.

The average package offered by the companies is about 6.5 Lakh per annum and the highest package is about 24 Lakh per annum.
IN MIT
The average package offered by the companies is about 3 Lakh per annum.

It is VIT University anytime. VIT University in no way should be compared with ASE, Coimbatore as the institute provide with ample opportunity, vibrant culture and keep it's labs updated with modern software and hardware systems.
Now coming to placements, VIT University has placement of about 7 lakhs per annum whereas highest being around 22 lakhs in this placement season. Although, it is expected to be much more as all the placement data is not disclosed due to security reasons.
Now coming to ASE-Coimbatore, the average placement is about 3 to 4 lakh offered by the company per annum whereas the highest being 13 lakh which is no way comparable to VIT.
Although ASE is not that much worse and can be considered as a second priority after VIT. But the one here needs to maintain a good CGPA and an extraordinary CV to get the desired placement results.
