The introduction of negative marking in VITEEE exam pattern for the first time is the most significant change made this year. Now, for every incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted. While each correct answer carry 4 marks. So, now with negative marking implemented, blind guessing can be risky.

VITEEE is comparatively easier than JEE Mains in terms of difficulty. JEE Main purely focuses on concepts and fundamentals. On the other hand, the VITEEE focuses more on accuracy. In terms of difficulty level, JEE Mains ranges from moderate to tough while VIT exam range from easy to moderate.

No, 75% is not required for VITEEE. The minimum qualifying mark is 60% marks in physics, mathematics and chemistry. On the other hand, for SC/ST, Jammu and Ladakh and North-Eastern states, the minimum qualifying mark is 50%.

According to the subject requirement, 60% or 50% is calculated based on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. PCB is required for Biotech/Bioengineering.

Yes, absolutely exam pattern is important for VITEEE preparation as it help student to understand how the VIT exam is conducted. Now that negative marking is introduced, candidates must be well aware of the marking scheme and prepare accordingly. In addition, students must focus on accuracy and time management skills apart from clearing concepts.
