No, the unattempted questions in the VITEEE paper will not be marked negatively. These questions will not be considered when the papers are being scored. Students are encouraged to attempt all questions in the exam since wrong answers are not negatively marked.

VITEEE exam pattern is released online. During exam, students will have to answer multiple choice questions. Out of four options for each question, student will have to select the correct one. More than one option cannot be selected. Question paper will be prepared from official syllabus.

Dedicate at least one to two months to VITEEE revision. The best way to revise for VITEEE exam is to make concepts clear.
- Start with NCERT. Solve each question (that you find important)
- Look for the most repeated questions in VITEEE previous year's and solve them. Doing this will build accuracy and improve time management.
- Attempt PYQs and do not neglect English and Aptitude sections. Give equal importance to them as well.
- For any doubt, try asking mentors, friends, seniors or teachers and get your queries answered.
- Do a quick review at the end of the day to check your performance and progress.

As per last year's analysis, VITEEE question paper difficulty ranges from easy to moderate. It can vary for each section (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Biology/English/Aptitude). However, compared to JEE Main, the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination is considered easier.

Yes, Vellore Institute of Technology conducts the exam online for MPCEA and BPCEA streams. The test duration of CBT is 2 hours and 30 minutes, and is held at various test cities acrosss India and abroad.

Yes, VIT has introduced negative marking scheme in VITEEE 2026-27 admissions. Now, students will get -1 mark for every wrong attempt. However, for each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded.

The VITEEE 2024 exam pattern is available at vit.ac.in. The candidates can verify the specifics of the entrance exam's administration by using the VITEEE exam pattern 2024. There will be 125 multiple-choice questions in the computer-based VITEEE exam. Each question in the four areas of the VIT question paper will be worth one mark. There won't be any negative marking in VITEEE, meaning that candidates will not lose points for providing inaccurate answers. VITEEE is conducted as a computer-based test at different exam cities. The question paper will have a total of 125 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology, Aptitude and English. The students will have to complete the exam within 2 hours and 30 minutes. If we break the questions section-wise, then Physics and Chemistry will have 35 questions each, Aptitude will have 10 questions and English will have 5 questions. However, Maths will have 40 questions. Every correct answer will be given one mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
