Vivekanand Institute of Technology and Science offers BTech, MBA, Diploma, and MTech courses. Admission to MTech, Diploma, and MBA courses is not done based on the scores obtained in any entrance exam. But, the candidates having valid scores in GATE, JEE CUP, and CUET-PG entrance exams, respectively, will be given preference. Admission to BTech courses at the college is done based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main exam. The rank required in counseling for admission in 2024 for students belonging to the general category ranges around 945226. Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC/SBC) in the subject's combination of Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects: Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science at 10+2 level. However, preference is given to JEE main qualified candidate

VIT has multiple facilities for it's students like  multiple sports grounds for separate for each sport. Along with sports, various laboratory has been set up like civil engineering lab, computer engineering lab. Moreover VIT has a big exclusive library providing all study material. Cafeteria along with medical facilities are bonus. Lastly VIT also has in campus hostel for boys and girls

Yes one can apply to VIT without JEE main,  the eligibility for B.Tech courses is that  Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC/SBC) in the subject's combination of Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects: Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science at 10+2 level. Admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of merit obtained by students in 10+2 followed by REAP Counselling. However,  Candidates who have obtained a valid rank in JEE main  exam are given preference.

For applying to the course, candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum 45% marks.Priority is given to JEE main qualified candidates. Admission is done through Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) conducted by CEG, Rajasthan.

A number of companies do visit Vivekanand Institute of Technology and Science to offer jobs. The maximum number of students were placed in the first round of the campus drive. Companies like Genpact, Logictech, etc. offered jobs. The highest salary offered was INR 14 LPA.
