Admission to PhD at IIFT Kolkata is a two-stage process. Both of these are mentioned below:
Stage I: All the eligible candidates are called for an MCQ-based written entrance test comprising of basic statistics, logical reasoning, data interpretation, basic mathematics (up to Class 12) and verbal ability
Stage II: Candidates who clear the stage I (the written entrance test) will be called for the Personal Interview (PI)

IIFT Kolkata offers PhD across two specialisations, namely Management and Economics. Both these specialisations along with their eligibility requirements are tabulated below:

Final selection to MBA is subject to a valid score in the IIFT Entrance Exam followed by WAT-GD/PI rounds of selection. The total fee for MBA in International Business at IIFT Kolkata is INR 20.97 lakh. This fee is inclusive of components, namely tuition, library, internet, medical insurance, course material, hostel charges (for double occupancy, boarding charges, students and alumni activity. According to official sources, IIFT Kolkata concluded its placement drive for the year 2021-23 batch. As per the report, the highest domestic and international package (for overall placements of IIFT campuses) stood at INR 75.6 LPA and INR 85.4 LPA. Further, the average and median package offered during IIFT Kolkata placements 2023 was INR 29.1 LPA and INR 26.5 LPA, respectively. A total of 108 recruiters with 36 new recruiters participated during placements in 2023. The final cutoffs for admission to the MBA-IB 2023-24 batch is not out yet. However, the final cutoffs for IIFT admission 2022 were released along with the final merit list in May 2022. Check the table below for category-wise final IIFT cut-offs 2022:
