Yes, you can join GIBS Business School without XAT

  • As the institute accepts multiple entrance exams for PGDM admission, including CAT, CMAT, MAT, GMAT, ATMA, and State CET scores.
  • Admission is based on any of these valid exam scores along with SOP and personal interview. So, XAT is not mandatory if you have a valid score in one of the other accepted exams

No, XAT is not compulsory to get admission into Christ University Pune MBA course. Other than XAT, students can get an MBA seat via other exams, such as CAT, GMAT, GRE, etc. Other than entrance test scores, the students performance in GD, PI, and WAT is also taken into consideration while making the final selection.

It is not necessary to conduct CAT, MAT, or XAT tests for MBA in Hospitality and Tourism admission in Lovely Professional University (LPU). The only basic eligibility criterion is graduation with at least 55% marks, and admission is substantially through the LPUNEST entrance exam or, in some instances, a valid CAT score. MAT and XAT, though, are not specified as compulsory or standard entrance exams for this course at LPU. Students can get admission by either appearing in LPUNEST or by scoring in CAT, but the selection of CAT, MAT, or XAT is not obligatory if you choose LPUNEST instead.

Yes, candidates have to fill the admission forms of XAT accepting colleges separately as there is no option to choose multiple colleges in the XAT form. Candidates can only choose XLRI in the XAT application form, for a fee of INR 200.

There is no provision of form correction in XAT. Thus, candidates must make sure they fill correct details in their XAT application forms or if they have made a mistake in any field, then must rectify it before pay the exam fee. Once the exam fee is paid, the form will get submitted and there will be no option to make changes.

Sections pertaining to candidate's identity (name, gender, DOB, category, address), education, parents, test city, photo, signature, ID card, test city and fee are mandatory sections in XAT application form. Only work experience and option to select XLRI as preferred colleges sections are optional.

It is not recommended to attempt a XAT mock test a day before the exam. That time should be best left for revision of important formulas and concepts, revisiting the exam day strategy and relaxing. Attempting a full-day mock test can be mentally tiring and may shake up your confidence in case you don't score well. You wouldn't want to go into the exam with a doubtful mind.
