GIBS Business School, therefore, accepts 'all national-level entrance examination' scores that include the major management exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT, and in some cases State CET exams for admissions to PGDM and MBA programs. These scores will determine a candidate's eligibility for the subsequent stages of selection involving the submission of SOP, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview. This multi-exam acceptance policy allows applicants from different academic and test backgrounds to apply conveniently.

Yes, it's actually a good idea to give multiple MBA entrance exams if you can manage it. Each exam opens up different sets of colleges, so your chances increase instead of depending on just one score.CAT is obviously the toughest, but exams like CMAT, XAT and MAT also give you options in decent B-schools if one paper doesn't go well. The syllabus overlaps a lot, so preparing for one usually helps with the others too.Just make sure you don't over-stress and pick the exams that match your target colleges and your strength level.

If you're aiming for non-IIM B-schools, all four exams — CAT, XAT, NMAT, and CMAT — can open good options depending on your target colleges. For example, NMAT is accepted by schools like Athena School of Management, NMIMS, and SP Jain Global, which focus on profile-based admissions and industry exposure.XAT and CAT are more competitive and suit those aiming for top-tier institutions, while CMAT and MAT are good for mid-range B-schools.Your choice should depend on your career goals, target institutes, and the type of MBA programme you want — whether corporate-focused, analytical, or global.

New Delhi Institute of Management does consider the scores of CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT or ATMA. The selection measures for the New Delhi Institute of Management are not only the entrance scores but also different elements, like GD, PI, academic achievement and so on.
