Fashion designing in Alld university is categorised under the IPS department which is Institute for professional studies. There are four courses under IPS among which fashion designing is one. The admission forms for the entrance exam will be available around April.
The exam will be conducted in the month of may or June. You can fill the form online by visiting the official site of alld university. After qualifying the entrance exam you will be called for counseling in the IPS/food and technology department and will be confirmed for the admission.
Syllabus for entrance exam is not specific. The exam is conducted online. You will be allotted a centre for the exam in your preferred city and you will have to answer through computer as there will be 150 objective questions related to G.K, fashion and some logical and analytical ability questions.
As for me, I did not study an inch for the exam and yet backed the 2nd rank among 500 girls.
So if you too are a mediocre at studies, just be updated with current affairs.
It's a girls course and the department of fashion designing is in the women's hostel of alld university.

You can if you have something extraordinary in your profile. Without work experience, you will need something additional and special in your profile for them to admit you. You must also go through HBS website to learn about the MBA requirements and prepare accordingly. You can also see the HBS 2+2 program for freshers, again it will also require an excellent profile. Please visit their website.

Hi,
First of all, I think the fact that IMS Law College is comparatively new and a private college gives an edge to Faculty of law, Allahabad University which is a centralised government university. Now, let us discuss pros and cons of both colleges. Pros of Faculty of law, Allahabad University are the faculty and alumni basis which includes many chief justice of India and prominent lawyers. Another pro is the fact that you can intern with some phenomenally well lawyer in Allahabad high court and if you are going for litigation, it can be a good choice. However, the placements of Allahabad University are not really encouraging since it has started 5 year integrated course recently. Moreover, the red tapism is too much in centralised university and autonomy to student body is restricted. Now, coming to IMS Noida, which is among few private university focusing on moots, debates and other co-curricular activities which is a major pro of it. Another pro is the fact that it is in NCR and many good firms are established in NOIDA unlike the case of Allahabad University. The alumni is almost negligible and the high court internship can be tiresome owing to distance issues. Overall, it is upon your preferences whether you want a government university or a university promoting activities other than academic excellence.
Good luck.

Hi,
Both the colleges that you have mentioned are no doubt very good colleges altogether but if you ask for my suggestion, I would go for Faculty of Law, Allahabad University over Asian Law College, Noida. This is because the faculty for law at the Allahabad University has a very well experienced law faculty and also it is a quite old college and has produced some great lawyers and judges. Thus, this college has kept a good record and thus the education imparted here at this Faculty of Law is very good.
Also, the library has a very good collection of books, journals and magazines which prove to be very helpful to the students. The faculty and the visiting faculty is a very well experienced team. Though the placements provided by the college is not as good as the college is which has kept it on a backfoot. But, overall this college is a good college as compared with the other one i.e the Asian Law College, Noida.
Hope this information proves to be helpful to you.
Feel free to revert for any further details, information or queries
Wish you all the very best!

Well, there is no placement division in the Faculty of Law, Allahabad University and thus no provision of in house placement is there.
A student graduating from there needs to be on his own for placements purposes, and thus he has to choose his own path.
As a trend, most of the graduates there prefer preparing for judiciary or UPSC or PCS exams.
Also, many prefer practicing under senior lawyers.
No law firm or corporate house takes graduates from the university after graduation, thus a scope in that sense is less and student has to be on his own.
Also, a graduate may apply for job on his own in any firm, but preferences will be given less to him compared to NLU pass out.
Thus, the placement opportunities are less and no in house placement facility is there
Apart from this, a student may take preparations or jobs as he wish to, but the college has no role to play.
