Any graduate of Bangalore University or of any other University recognised by the Bangalore University as equivalent thereto who is physically fit and satisfies any of the following conditions will be eligible for admission to B. P. Ed. Degree Course.
1. Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with 50% marks and having at least participation in the Inter-College/Inter-Zonal/District/School competition in sports and games as recognised by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India.
2. Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education with 45% marks.
3. Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with 45% marks and studied physical education as compulsory elective subject.
4. Bachelor's Degree with 45% marks and having participated in National/Inter University State competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in Inter College/Inter-Zonal/District/School competition in sports and games as recognised by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India.
5. Bachelor's Degree with participation in international competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in National/Inter-University competition in sports and games as recognised by the respective federations/AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India.
6. Graduation with 45% marks and at least three years of teaching experience (for deputed in-service candidates i.e. trained Physical Education teachers/coaches.

To get a seat in the School of Engineering, Presidency University, Bangalore for B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, candidates must pass the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, or Business Studies. They must also obtain at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) in these subjects.

Candidates who qualify in Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted and allotted seats by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Government of Karnataka are eligible to take admissions for the Under Graduate Engineering / Architecture courses in UVCE.

Admission criteria for reserved category students for Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at St Joseph's University Bangalore includes passing exams at +2 level (ISC/CBSE/ other state boards/International Board/Karnataka PU Board) in any stream from any recognised boards from India or abroad.

A candidate who has passed the two years Pre-University Examination conducted by the Pre-University Education Board in Karnataka or Three years Diploma in Engineering of Government of Karnataka or any other examination considered equivalent thereto shall be eligible for admission.
