Students have to register themselves on the portal of what is called as Admission Committee for Professional Courses or ACPC. 100% of the seats in government colleges are filled by ACPC,  while only 50% seats are filled  in private colleges through this process. As this is a private University, students have to apply directly to the university for 50% of the seats available for admission. Coming to your present query no JEE Mains is not a mandatory to seek admission in engineering undergraduate courses for this you may also do what is called as GUJCET. Hello Nishar Ahmed, the basic eligibility criterias for getting admission in one of the engineering undergraduate courses in this university are not very tough. A student need to score at least 45% of aggregate marks in 12th standard and then of course he has to appear in any of the following examinations JEE mains, GUJCET, CBSE 12th or GSEB HSC.
