Placement is usually focused towards IT companies. Average package was somewhere around 3 LPA. Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, etc., IT giants from India and abroad too visit the campus. The mechanical department has some core companies visiting them with an average package of around 4 LPA, companies like Honda, Mahindra, and Eicher are a few of them.

As far as I know, as I am from IMS, DAVV, its quite hai good college in central M.P. having a good curriculam and placement opportuinities. Now about APJ Abdul Kalam University its a recently established university around 2004-05, it has good infrastructure, but as I am not from it, so I do not know much about its curriculum and placements opportunities. Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, conducts common entrance tests for admission to various UG and PG courses. Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyala Common Entrance Test or DAVV CET is held in May-June every year. Candidates who wish to pursue any of the following courses have to appear for DAVV CET 2018 which will be held in the month of June.

84.5 is a good percentile so there is a good chance of getting admission. Through CMAT you will get admission into MBA (FT) program where you elect finance specialization in 2nd year whereas if you appear for DAVV CET for admission in MBA (Financial Administration) you study finance subject from the begin of 1st year. So if you really want to for finance I suggest you to appear for DAVV CET and get admission in MBA (FA). CET exam may be conducted in May or June.
