From my experience as a CSE student at LPU:At LPU, the CSE department is very large and industry-focused. We get regular coding contests, hackathons, workshops, and industry interaction. Many big tech companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, and Capgemini visit the campus for placements. Because of the large tech ecosystem here, students get more opportunities in software roles. With 85% in your 12th boards, you can also be eligible for a merit scholarship at LPU, which can reduce the tuition fee.At JECRC University, the CSE programme is decent and known in Rajasthan, but the scale of placements, number of visiting companies, and exposure are generally smaller compared to LPU.So if your priority is CSE exposure, coding culture, and placements, LPU would be the better choice. Also, the scholarship based on your 85% marks can make it more affordable.

I looked into LPU for B.Sc Agriculture, and from what I've seen, it's a place where you spend time in labs and on the farm, not just reading from books. LPU is the first private university in India with ICAR accreditation, so the degree follows national standards. You also get soil testing labs, plant pathology labs, polyhouses, and research farms, along with field visits, workshops, and projects.Colleges like Amity, JCERC, and Jaipur National University offer similar programs, but LPU gives more chances to try things yourself and see agriculture in practice. Placements have reached up to ₹19.25 LPA with companies like Syngenta, ITC Agri, Godrej Agrovet, and Bayer. Students also get research exposure through over 500 publications and 100+ patents. Ultimately, LPU lets you experience the field from the very first year.
