Good but only to take a degree. If you want such a good college, please try another.
Placements: Companies are coming but the salary is too low. The package offered is 2 LPA to 6 LPA such 10 to 5 people in my class take it. Recruiting companies are Swiggy, Ola, etc. 80 percent of students are doing interviews for internships. Mainly in my course, the role is given like leadership, which makes a person's personality too high and good.
Infrastructure: There is a network issue in IPS, and they don't give the Wi-Fi password to anyone, only faculty use it. I think in our course, lab work is not needed, but the lab is not really bad. Classrooms are old, and the furniture is not good. The library is too good but they want improvements in facilities Canteen and mess are good.
Faculty: Some teachers are helping me, but some teachers' attitude and nature are too bad. They do not make students industry-ready. They only teach theories. My exam is currently conducted on a yearly basis, so it is conducted by DAVV. 50 percent is the passing percentage. Exams are not difficult, there is only theory.
Other: I do not want to do this but I really want to do an MBA, so I need a Bachelor's degree, that's why I chose this. There should be improvements in some faculty and classrooms. Events and fests are good.

SGSITS has been downgraded a lot.
Placements: Seniors said only 5 companies have come to the college this year. The highest package is 16 LPA. There is so much corruption going on in the college. Even if the total intake is 120 in IT, they have 150 students in IT, those 30 are coming by giving money during CLC.
Infrastructure: Although the IT infrastructure is good. The classrooms are good, but the Wi-Fi doesn't work throughout the whole campus, including the hostels. The library is aesthetic and silent. Labs are fine not something you will think is great in any sense, that's it. Facilities are bad.
Faculty: Teachers of this college are really supportive, as per my experience here. The IT course relevance has decreased a lot over the past 3-4 years. The curriculum is outdated. Semester exams are average. Teachers are qualified.

Very bad. Do not join.
Placements: 30% of students are placed with an average package of 8 LPA. Around 70% remain unplaced and have to find jobs themselves. The companies recruiting from the college are also not very good. Only 1–2 students get selected by top companies, and the rest have to compromise. The lowest package is around 3 LPA. The highest is 14 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very bad. There is no Wi-Fi. Even the mobile signal from our service providers is blocked on campus. There are jammers everywhere, so you cannot access the internet or use phones. I do not stay in the hostel as I am a day scholar, but I have been told that the college hostels are very dirty and filthy.
Faculty: Teachers are very bad and not supportive at all. Some teachers fail students on purpose because students annoy them. If you are not a teacher's favorite, you always get lower marks. You also have a higher possibility of failing. So, if you want to pass, you have to be a teacher's favorite, attend all classes, and maintain a good reputation.
Other: I expected everything to be good. But instead, I had to face the exact opposite. There are no fests or extracurricular activities. The crowd is very bad. The surroundings are okay because of the natural environment. Scholarship is the only thing where I did not face any issues.

My conclusion is that this college is the best.
Placements: There are lots of students who have taken admission to SGSITS this year. The highest package offered by the college is around 44 LPA, and the average package offered by the college is around 8–10 LPA. There are top companies like Amazon, Samsung, Adobe, etc.
Infrastructure: SGSITS provides good facilities and infrastructure for students across different engineering departments. Classrooms are spacious, clean, and suitable for regular lectures. The departments have well equipped laboratories where students gain practical knowledge.
Faculty: Teachers are highly educated and well-known in terms of their legacy. Their teaching style is awesome. They understand their students very well. Students can contact any faculty member at any time for academic doubts or personal problems as well.
Other: I chose this course at this college because this is one of the best colleges in Madhya Pradesh. My course provides many career options in the future.

A good backup if you didn't get into an IIT, NIT, or IIIT.
Placements: Since it is a government college, the placements are decent compared to many other colleges. On-campus opportunities are increasing. This is partly due to the growing semiconductor industry in India. The average package for 2026 is 6.43 LPA. 75–85% of students from the ETC branch get placed. Some students choose to pursue higher studies, such as M.Tech or MBA, for better career opportunities and packages. ETC students are allowed to appear for almost all company placements. Core ETC companies like Bosch, L&T, Airtel, and Jio also visit for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Since it is an older government college, the old buildings do not have very modern infrastructure. However, the new buildings and labs have good infrastructure. The old hostel buildings are basic. The boys' hostel is located at the end of the college. Girls hostel is near the entrance. Hostel allotment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Number of seats is limited. The campus and hostels are surrounded by walls. Security is also strict. The library is very good. It has been newly built. The college is located near the IT park in Indore.
Faculty: IET DAVV prepares its own examination papers. This makes the course completion process smooth. There is very little ambiguity in syllabus or examinations. If any issue occurs, it is resolved quickly. Teachers are very helpful when students ask for guidance. They also help with subject-related doubts. Teachers provide useful resources for competitive exams as well. The library has most of the books required by students. It also has books suggested by teachers.
Other: There are many clubs in the college. Students can become a part of these clubs. They can choose clubs based on their interests. NSS is also available. Students can participate in many sports activities and compete at higher levels. The campus has a running track. It also has basketball facilities. Volleyball facilities are available as well. There are also football, cricket, and badminton facilities. The college is near the Bhawarkua area. Many useful facilities and resources are available nearby.

Good college for IT students as well as for management students (MBA, BBA).
Placements: About 60 percent of students got placed from our college. The highest package of my college is 42 LPA, the lowest package is 2 LPA-3 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA-5 LPA. In the tech field, top recruiters in our college are Infosys, Yash Tech, TCS, Capgemini, etc. Almost 70 percent of students got good internships. The roles offered in our course are as an AI engineer or software engineer.
Infrastructure: The institution provides good facilities, and the infrastructure is good. They provide 24/7 Wi-Fi support, a proper big lab, and digitalised classrooms. Our college has a total of 2 libraries. No facilities for a hostel. The quality of food is also good, but it charges Rs. 3-4 more than the outside food price (handmade food). They have a canteen, games, and sports. Lectures are regulated on a timetable basis.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Some have a B.Ed degree, and some have a PhD. No doubt about quality. 90 percent of teachers are of the best quality. The course curriculum is relevant, and the material and guide should build students to be industry-ready. The semester exams are not that difficult. Almost 85 percent of students passed in their semester exams.
Other: No ragging is there, there is some discipline that needs to be maintained in our college. I'll choose this course to get a better future in the tech field. This course is full of tech vibes and new things to learn about AI and tech.
