The Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi, is one of the premier business schools in India. The admission procedure for FMS Delhi's MBA programme typically includes the following steps:Eligibility Criteria:Candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria set by FMS Delhi. The criteria may include a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a certain minimum percentage or CGPA. The exact eligibility requirements may vary from year to year, so it's essential to check the latest eligibility criteria on the FMS Delhi website.Entrance Examination:FMS Delhi primarily admits students through the Common Admission Test (CAT), conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). You must appear for the CAT and achieve the required cutoff score set by FMS Delhi.CAT Registration:Register for the CAT exam during the registration period specified by the IIMs. The CAT scores are used to shortlist candidates for the next round of the admission process.Online Application:After CAT results are declared, FMS Delhi usually opens its online application portal for MBA admissions. You must submit an online application through the FMS website during the application window. Ensure that you provide accurate and complete information.Shortlisting for Interview:FMS Delhi shortlists candidates based on their CAT scores. If you meet the cutoff criteria, you will be invited for an interview.Interview:Shortlisted candidates are required to appear for an interview conducted by FMS Delhi. The interview panel assesses candidates based on various factors, including academic performance, work experience (if any), communication skills, and general awareness.Final Selection:The final selection for admission to FMS Delhi's MBA programme is based on a combination of factors, including CAT scores, performance in the interview, academic background, and other criteria as specified by the institute. A merit list is prepared, and candidates are offered admission based on their rankings.Seat Acceptance and Fee Payment:If you receive an admission offer, you will need to pay the admission fee within the specified timeframe to secure your seat.Document Verification:Candidates must submit necessary documents, including academic transcripts, certificates, and identity proof, for verification during the admission process.Orientation and Commencement of Classes:Once the admission process is complete, FMS Delhi conducts an orientation programme for new students, followed by the commencement of classes.
