No, mathematics is not compulsory for B.Com courses. You just need the basic knowledge of mathematics of matric level only. Although it is difficult to get admission in du, but you should try for it. Best of luck.

Every college has different placement cell and if you get admission in north campus college then the placement is very good, but in south campus colleges, the placement cell does not work actively. So, it varies college from college.
