Well, if you've heard for reliable sources like The Hindu or the Economic Times it is true. The salary at the top 3 IIMs are very high. Before I mention the salaries, let me start by saying that there are two types of placements :
The Summer Placements: These are internships and salary may range from a few Lacs to even 10,000 per month and is for a period of two to three months. This internship may turn into a full time job based on your performance. Final Placements: The type of job you get depends on your two years you spent at IIM, your grades, your extra-curriculars and internship. Your final placement salary may range from One Crore to 50,000 or so per month and it depends on the IIM you study in also. Here are the median and the highest salaries offered to students by companies last year (2015) at IIM-, IIM-B and IIM-C. IIIM-A:
The highest salary: 1.38 crore and 70 Lacs as the highest international salary
Median Salary: Average domestic salary would be about 18 Lacs. IIM-B:
The highest salary: the highest domestic salary was 53 Lacs whereas, the highest international salary was 73.38 Lacs. Median Salary: Average domestic salary would be about 18-20 Lacs. IIM-C:
The highest salary: 33.7 Lacs was the highest salary in 2015. Median Salary:17-18 Lacs was the median salary last year.

For IIMs/FMS there is CAT scorecard required. If you have more than 95 percentile then there are high chances to get a call.

Lsr is a dream college for many people. Getting a seat in this college is not easy at all but hard work and dedication in the right direction and intensity can surely help you get in. With all the pressure building up around this time, keep the following things in mind-
Stay motivated- self motivation is extremely crucial. Keep telling yourself that you are capable and you can and have to do it. Keep revising- revising the topics again and again is the key to efficient learning and eventually getting good marks. Plan according to your requirements- make time tables keeping the need in mind. Give more time to the subject you think is your weakness. Don't overdo- don't panic and overstress. Have faith in yourself. Reduce the time you give to social media platforms- not that doing this will help you study better but will certainly keep you mentally fit. I am not saying to remove all the social medias, just cut down its use. Use that time to meditate or sleep.

Hi,
GMAT scores are valid only if NRI students want to join JBIMS. You have to appear for MHT CET exam and secure a rank under 30 plus you need to have a Maharashtra domicile. I do not have much idea about IIMs.
