The percentage for admission is the same for any board. You need to get above 90% to get into SRCC.

You have to get a really good percentage to get admission in top DU colleges approximately 95% but as per tight marking done in Bihar board you can get admission in an average college of DU even after scoring good in boards.

English honors, anywhere in India, is all about literature. It is thus also called as Literature honors. You will study contemporary literature which includes novels, Classical literature which includes epic texts like Ramayana and background readings which include essays written about the texts you will read. You will cover major texts from all the times; medieval, ancient and modern. You will not just study about Indian literature and its writers but also American, British, German, Roman and more. There would no focus on vocabulary and grammar. If you have immense love in reading books and novels, and especially fiction, then you can consider thinking about English (H). You should love language. You will not just read in your graduation, but will 'critically analyze' the texts you are reading.

Hello Chandar,
No, you aren't eligible to apply in IIMC just after class 12th. IIMC offers courses of PG level only hence you can apply after you graduate.

The cut-offs are on the basis of examination and average range of results among students. If there are a high number of students getting 98% then it is possible that cut-offs will go high and DU may close cutoffs even after 3 list, of specific courses If the seats are full. For reservations category, cut-offs are less and it can be around 80-85% and it may reduce further if the number of candidates is less. It all depends upon number of seats remaining.
