Well, being a final year student of the college and having the combination of Maths and Economics, I will say, yes it is. Here I am talking about Bsc Maths only. The senior faculty is nice. Whereas the ad-hoc are mere beginner in the field of teaching, so they sometimes are unable to explain the concepts to us. The key to success is to just go through what the professors have taught, not daily but still 23 times in a week and be regular. If you are not regular, you will face a lot of difficulty in coping with the class because there is no one professor teaching you the entire syllabus. The syllabus is divided in 34 parts and each part is taught by a different professor. So not only you have to be regular, but you need to have in mind what the professor had taught you in the previous class(just going through the questions or theory will work)
However, the professors in Lsr are dedicated and very cooperative. So even if you are unaware of some basic concepts, there are tutorials apart from classes, where you can clear all your concepts and ask any silly question/s. So I will say, if you make it to the high cut-offs of DU, LSR is a really good option, as this college will offer you plethora of options.
All the best.

Hi Anil!
Yes, you can. A candidate should possess a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university/institution. Distance or regular, does not really matter. All that matters is, you should have your Bachelors degree with you.

Hi Animesh,
DU quota system is not for Delhi students but for the students from other parts of India, who also belong to certain backward classes or have performed well in extra curriculum activities. To ensure that every deserving student gets admission at this Central University, the DU quota system has been decided for SC, ST, OBC, wards of armed forces, Kashmiri migrants, physically challenged and sports students.
With a reservation of 27%, OBC students also get a relaxation of 10% in minimum marks. Colleges have to fill all the seats under OBC category too. Based on the medium of instruction, no category student can be denied admission.
Thanks.
