A pass in bachelor's degree and/ or in the master’s degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanity with at least 50% aggregate is required to apply for GJUST B.Ed course. Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with a minimum of 55% aggregate or any other qualification equivalent thereto can also apply for GJUST B.Ed course. Candidates who meet the eligibility conditions are eligible to apply online for GJUST B.Ed course. Aspirants must have the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission.

No, GJUST admission is entirely merit-based for B.Ed course. In case, a candidate has also passed the master’s degree examination after the bachelor’s degree, the higher percentage of marks obtained either in UG or PG degree will be taken into consideration while determining the merit. Candidates are required to pay the application fee during the registration process. A pass in Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate (47.5% aggregate for SC candidates for Haryana) is required to apply for GJUST BA (Hons) course. Candidates must hold the documents proving their eligibility for admission. Additionally, aspirants also need to qualify GJUST Entrance Test for admission to BA (Hons) course. The university releases a merit list announcing the names of the shortlisted candidates. Selected aspirants are further called for a counselling round. 

The total tuition fee for BA (Hons) Mass Communication and BA (Hons) Research ranges between INR 30,000 and INR 1.5 lakh. The total fee includes admission/ continuation fee, development fund, tuition fee, exam fee and other charges.
