Candidates must pass graduation in any stream with at least 50% aggregate (47.5% aggregate for SC candidates of Haryana recognised university. However, the candidates who have studied Mathematics at secondary level/ equivalent-level or at graduation level/ equivalent level will be given preference and may be considered for admission in this programme, if seats remain vacant. Additionally, GJUST admission to MBA course is based on CAT score followed by a GDPI round. 

A pass in Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate (47.5% aggregate for SC candidates for Haryana) is required to apply for GJUST BA (Hons) course. Candidates must hold the documents proving their eligibility for admission. Additionally, aspirants also need to qualify GJUST Entrance Test for admission to BA (Hons) course. The university releases a merit list announcing the names of the shortlisted candidates. Selected aspirants are further called for a counselling round. 

A pass in bachelor's degree and/ or in the master’s degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanity with at least 50% aggregate is required to apply for GJUST B.Ed course. Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with a minimum of 55% aggregate or any other qualification equivalent thereto can also apply for GJUST B.Ed course. Candidates who meet the eligibility conditions are eligible to apply online for GJUST B.Ed course. In case, a candidate has also passed the master’s degree examination after the bachelor’s degree, the higher percentage of marks obtained either in UG or PG degree will be taken into consideration while determining the merit.
