Life of a state government engineering college student.

Placements: Now the placement scenario is too low. Before 2022, placement was quite good. Now, on-campus placement is almost 10-20% of each branch. Most of the students grab off-campus placements. Still, good students passed out from this college to big companies like Google (ECE student from the 2022 batch), Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, etc., and also in the government sector. The highest on-campus placement is 10 LPA in branches like CSE, CIVIL, and 6 LPA in core branches like ME, EE, ECE, etc. Almost a maxim...

It's a mixed experience because I am not yet placed here, but I enjoyed it a lot.

Placements: No students get placed in my course. Just 2-3 companies came for placements, but they preferred B.Tech more. 5-6 students got internships in startup companies only. An event called career verse is organised in which my companies participate, like HCL, TCS, Infosys, etc., but they prefer B.Tech students. I got an internship opportunity at Calibyte, which is a startup company.

Facilities are average, like infrastructure, campus life, crowd, teachers, and hostel.

Placements: The highest package from CSE is 6 LPA, and the average package is around 3 LPA. 5-10 students are generally placed till now (mid placement season). Most of the students try to find internships off campus by building their skills on their own, and mostly get their placements off campus.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the infrastructure. The faculty is supportive and caring.

Placements: No placements are available in my course at my college. But it gives placements in internships, which are very few. They are given to about 2-3 students in a full batch only, which is a very bad thing. I am absolutely dissatisfied with it, and it should give placements for jobs also.

Review from 2nd sem B.Tech E&C student.

Placements: The placements are even less than what we call decent here. You cant expect more from the on campus placements from this college. They roam around 3 to 4 LPA as the average package. Of course, it depends on the crowd as well, but still, there are very few packages offered here.

GJU, Hisar, college life review.

Placements: In our university, almost 50 percent of the students are placed on the campus. The average package is 4 LPA, and the highest package is 23 LPA. Some of the companies that are enrolled in our university are Wipro, Infosys, TVS, etc. Data scientist, data analytics, and AI engineering are the top courses seen in placement and internship.

It has been seen that in the 'Management' category, the institute's ranks have shown a fluctuating trend when evaluated against the ranking of the prior year. In 2025, GJUST's rank is #101, the same as last year's rank in the 'Management' category by the NIRF ranking.
