Yes, you'll get into HBTU with this rank. Moreover, you'll not be able to get CSE for sure as the previous cutoff for HBTU CSE is too far from your rank so its likely to deviate. Moreover, you'll get branches such as Mech, BIOTECH , CIVIL, EEE

In HBTI, admission is done through JEE Mains. IET is under UPSEE. Please specify your rank. Is it your general rank or BCAF rank?

My JEE Mains rank is 63734 in general category. Will I get admission to ECE in HBTI, even in the spot round?

Recorrecting your Exam name to UPSEE, you have excellent rank and you need not to worry. For HBTU, it takes through JEE Mains only. You can get into UP's top Universities such as UPTU's BIET Jhansi etc. and all such colleges accepting UPSEE.

PS : Kindly mention if the exam is different UPSEE . Best of luck and relax :)

I think, yes you can get HBTU for MCA. NIMCET have around 800-900 seats for NITs. And after 900 ranks, students go to other prestigious colleges. HBTU is one of them. In HBTU, 60 seats for MCA are available. For more details, see official site

Sorry but you have no chance with this rank in IET and the admission in HBTU is based on JEE Mains.

In the written admission test there are two parts: one is MMA and the other is PQB.
In MMA there are 30 MCQ questions each carrying 4 marks from 10+2 level. According to me the level of questions is between JEE Main and JEE Advanced mathematics question paper. So prepare well. Any JEE Advanced book is suggested. Also solve the previous question papers and some sample papers from ISI website, then you'll have an idea of the question pattern.
In PQB section there are 10 or 11 questions and you need to solve 6 questions each carrying 20 marks, so total 120 marks. Here people from mechanical background will get an advantage over other departments as the syllabus content mostly matches with their B.Tech(B.E) syllabus. In this section previous year questions are being repeated sometimes, so solve all the previous year questions. The level of the questions in this section is comparatively easy. For this section I suggest any GATE Mechanical book (preferably Arihant Publication). The electrical & electronics part you'll not get here, for that case consult those problems to any ECE or EE guys and get the reference of any good book. For engineering drawing, there are basically two types of questions. one is Isometric Projection view of a machinery component will be given and you need to draw the Orthographic Projection view. Other one is just the vice versa. Follow some YouTube videos for this.
