The mode of IIT Jammu course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on entrance exam scores such as JEE Main,  JEE Advanced, and merit. Candidates willing to be admitted to any of the programmes offered at IIT Jammu must fill out the application for the prescribed entrance exams, based on which they will be selected for the further IIT Jammu admission process. However, you have to wait till the last round, as the cutoff ranks are generally higher in the initial rounds. For the unreserved category, the IIT Jammu CSE cutoff 2025 was 5988 in the first round. In the last round, the cutoff rank closed at 6651. Therefore, the probability of you getting CSE with a 6000 rank is high in the last round for admission.
