Yes, there are exceptions or exemptions for 60% eligibility requirement for admission to Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. and AH) at LUVAS Hisar. For SC category candidates, a relaxation of 5% of the requirement for General Category is allowed, i.e., the SC candidates securing a minimum of 47.5% marks in aggregate of the four subjects mentioned will be eligible to apply for admission. Additionally, for candidates with disabilities, 3% horizontal reservation is provided, and in case of unutilized seats, they may be offered to Ex-servicemen and their wards and the dependents of freedom fighters. Also, for admission under the management quota, the Haryana domiciled SC and BC candidates will get the same relaxation (in age and percentage of marks in 10+2) as the candidates applying under state quota seats. Moreover, 50% of the 20% seats reserved for Scheduled Castes are set aside for candidates belonging to deprived Scheduled Castes. It is also mentioned that if a seat remains vacant in any of the reserved categories, it will be converted to an open (General) quota and filled up on the basis of combined merit list during physical/mop-up counseling. Thus, there are various exceptions and exemptions to the 60% eligibility requirement for admission to B.V.Sc. and AH at LUVAS Hisar.
