As per the eligibility criteria for different courses the marks required in boards (qualifying exam) varies from 50% to 60% depending on the course. To take admission to certain courses at LPU you need to appear for LPUNEST, for others you may get direct admission provided you fulfil the eligibility criteria.
LPU offers more than 150 courses, and there are certain eligibility criteria that a student is required to meet to take admission. The candidate needs to qualify LPUNEST to get admission to courses like B.Tech., MBA, Hons, B.Pharm, MLT etc. For some courses like BA, B.Comm, BBA etc LPUNEST is not mandatory.

I would suggest you to stay in the hostel inside LPU campus. The privately owned rooms (PG) shared accommodation, which apart from its safety concerns are also prone to temptation of many social evils, which at the young age appears to be very attractive but create harmful effects on the students in the long term. There may be a wrong belief that PG living as compared to residential accommodation living is cheaper, but when all costs are taken into detailed consideration, then it appears that PG living in fact is more costlier and time consuming to commute up and down. LPU's residential facilities are indeed exceptionally well organised and maintained. The hostel administration here is very cooperative and caring. When it comes to Home like Healthy stay LPUs residential Facilities are excellent in all terms. LPU residential facilities are considered one the largest in India. There are 17 multi storeyed Hostels with different types of rooms like dormitory, two seater, single seater, AC, non AC, etc. Available in the hostels and the fee vary accordingly. While staying inside campus you will have 24X7 access to the library, indoor sports and gym facilities.
