Lovely Professional University offers migration/ transfer opportunities to the students in various programmes. Every year many migration/ transfer students amalgamate in our learning environment from across the country. Applicants need to fulfil the following basic eligibility requirements in order to apply for the Migration/ Transfer process. The application of the applicant who meets the eligibility requirements will be reviewed and verified by the University Officials for further process. The programme you are interested in applying to LPU should be similar to the one you are currently enrolled in. The applicant needs to satisfy the minimum percentage required in eligibility requirements of the current year in which the student is seeking migration/ transfer. Students who are seeking migration/ transfer are requested to apply as per following timeline:
For Even terms, students need to submit their request up to the month of November. For Odd term, students need to submit their request before the last date of admission. This helps to ensure that the transfer students will be able to join the classes in the upcoming term of the select programme with the existing batch after verification of the documents. The above mentioned schedule is tentative; any of the date (s) and other details as mentioned above is subject to change at the discretion of the University. If a migrating applicant has Backlog/ Compartment/ Reappear in any subject may not be considered by the University for Admission. PGD in guidance & counselling or postgraduate Diploma in guidance and counselling is a 1 to the 3-year Diploma course after Bachelor courses teaching ways on how to guide and do the counseling of students. The eligibility criteria for the course post graduate Diploma in guidance and counselling is to have a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognised institute. The admission process for the post graduate Diploma in guidance and counselling is to clear entrance exams taken by colleges and universities. The entrance exams are CAT XAT GMAT etc. The Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling aims to counsel and guide the young generation for defining their career path ahead. To my knowledge, LPU conducts LPU NEST for all the programmes. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship.
