YES, you can take admission in B.Tech programme at Lovely Professional University, after completing your Diploma. You will be considered as lateral entry candidate which means you can directly start from 2nd year of B.Tech. The eligibility condition for the B.Tech CSE Lateral Entry is:
Pass with 90% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 years after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or BCA or equivalent. Or
Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 years after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or BCA or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST.

Since I have studied in LPU I can give you some true inside picture of the institute. Faculty: The faculty is top notch. Admission: Rigorous admission process for eligibility into any programme which automatically creates quality students to be a part. NO problem if anyone is a dropper and wants to take admission in desired programme at LPU. The only requirement for a dropper is to Submit the GAP AFFIDAVIT, the format of which will be provided by University itself and students needs to get it filled and attested. Henceforth admission can be proceeded.
