The B Tech CSE programme primarily deals with the development as well as designing of computer software and hardware processes with a strong focus on courses related to algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software, databases, operating systems, computer networking, etc. That is needed to build and solve problems using computers.

As far as I know. In order to take admission in LPU for a maximum of the courses, the minimum percentage required in 10+2 is 60% along with that subjects of study are also mentioned and the candidate needs to appear for LPU NEST Exam. LPNEST is mandatory for B.Sc (IT), B.Sc (CS). B.Sc. (HM) for the 2022 session as of now. But also there are some courses where LPUnest is not mandatory such as BA, BCA, BBA, B.Sc (IT), B.Sc (CS).
