Dear Vaibhavi, Lovely Professional University is good for the Performing Arts programme. My friend did a Bachelor of Performing Arts from LPU and is now pursuing an MFA as well from LPU itself. Bachelor of Performing Arts is four years internationally accepted degree programme in Theatre that provides intensive training in Theatre Arts and include professionally apt field projects like T. V and Film production along with Interdisciplinary inputs on event management, IT adds to the employability of the students. Placements: Above 65% of the students get placed from the University. The salary packages offered depends on the company and the student. Record labels & music companies visit the campus for recruitment. Almost 50% of students got internships in multiple music companies & film companies in India. Roles offered were as Vocal artists, Composers, morning music producers, singer-songwriters, music directors, etc. For Admission in this programme, candidates just need to pass the percentage only in the qualifying exam. Although, LPU NEST is not required to qualify one can take this exam to avail or increase their scholarships.
