As an alumnus of LPU, I feel proud to answer this question. I was a student in the B.Tech CSE of 2012 batch, the knowledge that I gained while my course duration has helped me a lot in shaping my career. I am currently working as an Application Development Analyst in Accenture, Noida. To begin with, LPU provides a lot of options in engineering only. It is one of the most highlighted courses. Lpu school of pharmacy ranked among the top 25 pharmacy institutions in India. Mittal school of Business ranked among the top 40 Management institution in India. LPU school of Architecture and design ranked among the top 15 architecture institutions in India. LPU Engineering Faculty ranked among the top 65 engineering institutions in India. LPU made another Guinness world record, I came across this news where in online video the students of LPU is saying a sentence, a form of thanks to the university. The largest online video album of people saying the same sentence is 5,656 and was achieved by Lovely Professional University (India) at LPU Campus, Punjab, India on 13 September 2021. Dear Saezy, Definitely, banks provide finance to study MBA in LPU. Many of my friends did MBA from LPU by taking education loans through banks. LPU also helps students to get education loans. The university has set up a separate loan assistance cell to enable the students, at the time of admission, to obtain loans from banks with which the university has tie-ups. LPU is a registered university with certified programs, so almost all banks easily provide loans to students who wish to study at the university. The terms of the education loan would, of course, vary from bank to bank, as will the rate of interest offered, and the repayment plan. The student needs to apply for a loan letter from the university or from the LPU out-campus office. After having a loan letter from the university student can show it to the bank for further process, banks may ask for some other documents so you can apply from the university. Dear Sameeksha, It is a good decision to pursue civil engineering from LPU. It has a very good placement record at LPU. The highest package offered is 31 LPA. My friend B.Tech and M.Tech in Civil Engineering. The following are the highlights of Civil engineering in LPU: -
1. Most of the faculty staff are from reputed organizations with their the highest degree from various reputed institutes such as IITs, NITs, etc. Apart from that, faculty have got previous industrial experience also.
2. The capstone project is an integral part of B.Tech programme in which students have to pick a live project based on the practical problem-based scenario (ideally from industry) and work for six months under a mentor and present a report at the end. This is beneficial to enhance your presentation skills.
3. There is an internship programme which could be an opportunity for getting work experience and increase your chance to get employment after you pass out. But, of course, your academic record should be good to get this placement option.
4. Industrial visits are organized to nearby construction sites from time to time. There, you can SEE actual construction work going on. Be prepared to have dust on your shoes (believe me, it will be worth a lot). You have to ask questions yourself and trigger interest in the activities around you.
5. You will get some courses from soft skills, English language, mental and analytical aptitude side. This sounds dull to you as of now. But you will feel its importance when you face an interview panel in a company during your placement drives.
6. They have very good placement records and good infrastructure companies visit their campus, L & T, Simplex Piles Ltd, Era Infrastructure, Gammon India Ltd to name a few.
7. Career oriented Software training in project labs is given. To work in this profession, you are supposed to be familiar with software like MS-Project, STAAD Pro, MX Road, etc. None the less, you will be trained in Auto CAD in your second year which is prerequisite for any Civil Engineer.
8. Every theory course is complemented with relevant lab-based practical work. Some of the labs are based on field testing where experimental work is to be done, e. g. Soil Lab & Surveying Lab. I hope this helps

Dear Himanshu, Yes, you can get admission in LPU for B.Sc. In agriculture after completing 12th with 62.8% with PCM. My friend's brother took admission recently at LPU in the same programme. In addition to it, along with the marks in 12th class, you need to qualify for the LPU NEST exam. LPU is the first private university that got approval by ICAR. (I). The school of Agriculture was approved for accreditation for period of five years with GPAC of 3.42 (ii) The following degree programs were approved for accreditation for a period of five years

LPU is the best university for computer Science application, As alumni of LPU, I had a friend who did BCA from LPU, he told me about the BCA course. Lovely Professional University provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement.
