Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrade. Comptia, Transorg, Geeksforgeeks, etc. That help students to explore themselves more in their field. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Dear Gaya, I don't know other universities or colleges, but being alumni of LPU I can assure you that you are eligible B.Com (Honours) in 12th commerce without Maths if you have a minimum of 60% marks in the 12th class. Moreover, you have to qualify for the LPU NEST exam conducted by LPU. In LPU students get an in-depth knowledge of banking and management courses. B.Com is a specialised course that enables aspirants to gain adequate knowledge about the financial management and risks involved. This Hons course is of 3 years with 6 semesters. LPU allows students to analyze the market strategies and organizational behavior of many banking and financial sectors. Dear Vaibhavi, Lovely Professional University is good for the Performing Arts programme. My friend did a Bachelor of Performing Arts from LPU and is now pursuing an MFA as well from LPU itself. Bachelor of Performing Arts is four years internationally accepted degree programme in Theatre that provides intensive training in Theatre Arts and include professionally apt field projects like T. V and Film production along with Interdisciplinary inputs on event management, IT adds to the employability of the students. Placements: Above 65% of the students get placed from the University. The salary packages offered depends on the company and the student. Record labels & music companies visit the campus for recruitment. Almost 50% of students got internships in multiple music companies & film companies in India. Roles offered were as Vocal artists, Composers, morning music producers, singer-songwriters, music directors, etc. For Admission in this programme, candidates just need to pass the percentage only in the qualifying exam. Although, LPU NEST is not required to qualify one can take this exam to avail or increase their scholarships.
