Yes, it is worth pursuing BBA at LPU. There is no problem if you are a commerce student, you should have only 50% marks in the 12th class in any stream to get admission to the BBA programme at LPU. My friend took admission to LPU in BTech in the CSE programme this year so I can answer this question easily. First of all, you should have a minimum of 60% marks in the 12th class with mandatory subjects English, Physics, and Maths. Moreover, you have to qualify for the either LPUNEST exam or JEE mains exam with a minimum of 85 percentile.
I did my MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE.
There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good at LPU.
Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. in which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. per annum by Microsoft.
LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the program.
Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors.
Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries that help students to explore themselves more in their field such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrad, etc.
