Well if you ask me I would say there is no point comparing because both LPU and Amity University has their own story of glory and limitations. On one side where Amity University is famous for many branches. LPU is a younger a shining star in the ranking of Best Private University of India. Lovely Professional University's commitment to teaching excellence and providing the highest quality education to its students has once again brought laurels. The Ministry of Human Resource Department, Government of India has released NIRF Ranking 2020 and LPU appears in Top 100 in its most crucial Overall category, which includes IITs and Central Universities. LPU is also ranked 78th in the list of all the government and private universities of the country. University Engineering School is in the Top 100, Management School in the Top 50, and Pharmacy School in the Top 30 institutions of India. However I would say in LPU there is immense amount of exposure as well as academic-industry interactions happening throughout the year. LPU believes in overall grooming. The university also maintain a serene teacher student ration along with it the university pertains a thorough mentorship model that builds a stronger and effective working model. I can share my experience as I am a passout of LPU and I did my Mechanical Engineering from LPU while my best friend chose Amity. Just the difference was in regards to the total fee ( usually high in case of Amity and more over no such good facilities at that price). I would say LPU was way reasonable as I could complete my B.Tech in 4 Lacs with accommodation but in Amity it costed him about approximately 10Lakhs. On top of that in LPU I had the benefit of earning valuable scholarships and multiple career centric opportunities like industrial exposure, live projects, floor job training and study abroad. All this as a package was a justified and genuine bid. In short my experience with LPU was a worthy investment experience.
