Dear Suneel, Both HBTU Kanpur and LPU are very good institutes. But I always suggest LPU when it comes to the placement of CSE. Moreover, a student can have a lot of opportunities while studying at LPU for a better and prosperous career. I have also done my MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. In order to take admission in LPU for a maximum of the courses, the percentage required in 10+2 is 60% along with that subjects of study are also mentioned and the candidate needs to appear for LPU NEST Exam. In order to take admission in any course you need to qaulify the eligibility criteria and along with that you need to appear for LPU NEST which depends of the domain that you are planning to take admission. Yes, there is a cut off for LPU NEST for every course that you need to attain to get an admission into that course. The test is an objective test and the structure of the test depends upon the course that you are intending to take admission. There is a state-of-the-art 8-storey mall which has shops of all possible needs, departmental stores, and gadget stores too. Diverse options of dining are also available within the campus, which range from traditional Indian sweets to modern coffee shops. Most importantly, it has various banks with more than 50 ATMs inside the campus; hence, students need not go outside for any kind of transactions. The campus of LPU is so vast that it has its own postal code and office. I would recommend you to visit this university once if you are planning to get admission for yourself or your anyone else.
